all right it's 1240 now. i have 20 more minutes before i definitely have to sleep.
So i shall blog for the first time in more than a month i think.
lots of stuff have been happening...
Firstly, HPB race to health was held on 28 feb and although a lot of stuff weren't up to expectations, i guess it was a real learning experience. It was after all the first time i was planning a CIP project and such a big-scale one too! but i certainly had fun with my OG mates and 4B mates and well i think the participants had fun too luh.
Then, there was YAH's first even for the year, the Youth Health Symposium (YHS). It was fantastic. The atmosphere, the programme, the presentations, the debate. everything was so interesting. and to do it with 9 great friends and 1 boss was even better. haha. somehow, YAH plans such big-scale events but still manages to do it in such a friendly environment. I love YAH because I am able to be myself when I go for meetings. The EXCO just rocks luh. haha and of course the Swensen's treat rocked too. had lots of fun chatting and talking about APPLE CRUMBLE. HAHAHA. omg. jiankai ><
SHINE has been going great too. I'm glad I signed up for the publicity team although all other RI guys signed up for programmes. Everyone in it is passionate and really interested in SHINE and I guess just really enthu luh. and they are all very nice so it's great. Just had a panellist meeting today and it went great. I thought my presentation was rather good. Could have been better but I'm improving on my confidence luh. I stumbled at the start but I got better towards the end. Overall, I'm really impressed by the ideas that publicity comm has come up with and I've been exposed to a lot especially with SK and Shawn and Jackson. They make me feel like being in RJ is nothing. haha i mean they're very nice and can do so much more stuff than me. (: and having SK around is like having free lessons on advertising techniques. haha. and his passion and the way he speaks is something i would like to learn as well (:
YCM has been quite different though. I haven't been going for many meetings so i can't really see the big picture of everything but at least I've made a few friends there. (:
Crimezero is coming up fine too. Just need to finish up planning of the training sessions, get as many volunteers as possible and I guess we'll do fine. WLC is however rather worrying. We're facing quite a few problems and it's gonna be hard. But I believe that Wilson would do whatever it takes to make it successful so I'm still optimistic about it.
Council campaigning was this week. To be honest, I didn't do much for campaigning. But, well I'll see whether or not I get in and decide on my commitments later on...
Another exciting thing coming up is ISLE! (: CAMBODIA HERE I COME YEAH!
haha. this certainly is exciting.
and i've been improving on lots of stuff including interviews and presentations. I've come a long way since the interact interview...
and of course, studies is another main concern. I'm keeping up rather well for now. I guess I'm doing rather well for Physics for the time-being. Math, although I don't understand some of the RA stuff, I can still do the A-level questions so that's okay. Chem has been all right too. just got to mug it for the upcoming test. Rather worried about how chemical bonding would be taught though. >< As for Econs, I'm still understanding what's happening. The main concern would be essay skills and memory work once again. GP and PW are going fine for now. (:
So overall, I've been doing fine luh. Some people feel that I'm going burn out but for now, I'm still going okay. So I'm fine (:
CO tmr (: YAY.
