What a day!!!

What a day it has been!!!

First up was... HISTORY. it was ok lah. we did on post-war problems, self-governance, colonialism and british rule. and den, it was back to the basics of why the british were reluctant to hand s'pore full self governance... yar. quite interesting lah, the way the lesson was conducted. Mrs. Neoh used this "snowball" tactic where each person writes a question on a piece of paper and they throw it anywhere. each person den picks up one piece of paper and does the qn. quite a gd method. haha. fun and effective.

Next up was geog. geog was not that fun, but it was not that bad either. we did population studies again. ok. it's quite ok lah. population studies. onli prob is that they dont give notes!!! I WANT MY NOTES NOW!!! haha. without notes how to study for CT? haix... nvm.

ok. next was sci. SCI WAS FUN. we watched a video on why germany, though so advanced in the sciences during the 1920s-1940s, lost out to the america in the race to build the first atom bomb. well, apparently, this german physician, who was supposed to be the best physician in his time, did not want germany to win the war as he knew that would lead to disastrous consequences. The movie, named The Good German, was a really interesting one. go watch it if possible. it's both informative and exciting!!!

den, it was time to go for ysc. we went to the atrium to meet b4 we went up the bus. well, the bus journey was BAD... >_< ah. here are the substantiates.

1. the spider came out of the tank, and it took us 3 min to put it back in.
2. the air-con above me leaked water.
3. aaron got motion-sickness.

argh. ok lah. not that bad. haha. erm. after that, we set up our posters b4 we began our 1+ hr wait for our presentation to start. b4 long, we were called out to present. we started off well with yj doing much more brilliantly than in RE congress n edward too. but den, this time, i screwed up. haha. i skipped one whole sentence and since my script is like made up of onli 3 long sentences, i was left with 2, which was weird. haha. luckily, the judge interrupted me with a qn and therefore i did not get embarassed... hehe. but i also made aaron skip his last part of the script. after that the qn and answer was brilliant with aaron displaying once again his knowledge on the electromagnetic spectrum and the Light-emitting diodes. wonderful. this time, he even stated the equation for the electromagnetic spectrum and me, yj n edward were all stunned. haha. of cuz we didnt show our face as stunned but deep in our hearts, we were thinking "WALAO... SO MUGGER... ><" LOL... haha. ok lah. as in, i think that earnt us marks and aaron used every opportunity he had to display his knowlege. for example, when the judge asked a question which onli required an answer of "LED", aaron stated "LED which is a semiconductor device"... like LOL. haha. we also impressed the judges with our journal. haha. so, i think all in all we did quite well except in 1 qn where the judge asked "where did u get this graph from"... the grp was stunned. haha. so i juz answered we plotted ourselves, which to some extent, is correct. we koped the graph from the internet but we changed the value wat. so isnt it the same as plotting urself? haha. it's like using the same graphpad and same curve but having different values. i made the changes in the graphs using paint b4 SYSF to suit the mathematical equation. so, basically, we modified the graph lah. so, it's still the same as plotting urself, juz that we r too lazy to draw it out. haha. im like comforting myself. hehe.

Hm. so, after that, we went to eat lunch at canteen. den, we started the long wait for the results to be announced... haha. jeremy was mugging chi and geog. daniel was... erm... i dunno doing wat. ruijie playing hp. me doing nothing. argh. it was quite boring except for all the jokes. haha. erm. so in the end, the results came and low and behold... We got gold!!! haha. wonderful. out of the 7 teams altogether, we were the onli ones to get gold. thank you. haha. we were so happy. haha. yup. so it's gold for us. our third achievement or fourth if u count the RE congress semis so far. haha. wonderful. ok. that's all for now. after that, we juz went back home and i slept. haha. i was on MSN when i slept and so i was like having 8 convos there when i awoke. haha. den some1 accused me of dao-ism. haha. ok lah. i also accused that some1 of tao-ism b4 so... haha. it's like u shldnt point out the mistakes of other pple if u cant even point out ur own mistake. haha. aiyah. sry lah.... i give my most sincere apologies. haha. okok. gdnites for now. need to go liaos...
