argh...

i wonder whether this term will b a gd one. it seems to be a rather "unpredictable" term to me as i really do not noe where we are heading towards for all the subjects. esp. the humans. im hating humans. I HATE HUMANS. i cant stand it. its too subjective for me and i hate subjective stuff. there is no right or wrong unlike sci and maths. argh. wateva lah. just hate humans...

Today was also RICO comm meeting. it was rather screwed up. First, hwee leong made his long speech, and den LSH. she also scolded me for smiling at her when she was speaking. dont really understand the rationale behind it but i didnt bother asking. like y cant u smile at someone when he or she is talking. isnt it like an encouragement to see other ppl paying attention to you? or at least u noe they understand wat u r toking wat. y cant u smile at ppl when they are toking? argh. nvm... anywae, after that, we were briefed on our roles. mine is q-master and comm officer. so, first task is take back blazer and form new list of contacts. yes... argh. it's late. have to go. Bye...

Patrick..I used to think the same way too...but you'd soon realize that to be successful, you need to excel in both quantitative and qualitative analysis. I regret not spending more time reading on subjects like history or philosophy when I was younger...you'd soon realize that often a qualitative argument can be equally if not more convincing than a purely quantitative one. Learn to accept that most things in life is a continuum (not distinctive black and white), and often not measurable. So spend more time on your humanities...they give you skills you can never absorb from science or math.
